Sometimes I throw something together out of whatever I have in the kitchen, no big deal, and then I realize, THIS COULD BE A BLOG POST.

This morning I blended up what was left of our frozen fruit with some yogurt and whatever else was nearby and blended it up. I gave it to Darling Baby, and he went NUTS. I even tried to sneak a sip and he held on to his drink for dear life! Ha ha, “Make your own Mom! This one’s mine!”

Cherry-Berry Vanilla Shake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Plain Full-Fat Yogurt (get high-quality cultures to make your own yogurt here)
  • 1/2 Cup fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1/2 Cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
  • 1 teaspoon raw, local honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup coconut water (Find high quality coconut water here)

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Drink and enjoy!
